About APRIL

The Air Pollution Research in London (APRIL) network aims to bring together scientists, policy makers and the wider community to identify priority areas for research to improve air quality in London and other major cities, support the development of new scientific research and to communicate the latest research findings. We hold regular meetings, generally hosted by the Greater London Authority (GLA) at City Hall.

APRIL includes various specialist groups focusing on various policy areas which are directly affected by air pollution including emissions, monitoring and modelling, transport, health impacts, urban development, and synergies with climate policies. Meetings are open to all, and coordinated and arranged through the Chairs of the different groups – see Contacts
